Join us over Zoom on Wednesdays to discuss books on swing, jazz, blues, culture and more! We’re doing this as part of our continuing journey as an educational organization to elevate and honor the Black American history of this dance we all love and the music that inspired it.
Anyone is welcome to join us for the discussions, even if you haven't read the book. We realize that there may be barriers to access these books, but if you're interested in learning and chatting with us, please jump on in anyway. Check out the library’s availability, buy used, or if you’re able, consider ordering local from independent and/or Black-owned, as bookshops could use the extra help these days.
