WMSE’s 5th Annual Big Band Grandstand with Dewey Gill to feature the Chicago Jazz Orchestra. This gala and silent auction event is a fundraiser for Milwaukee’s favorite community-powered radio station, WMSE..

The Chicago Jazz Orchestra will present its Big Band Cavalcade with 18 musicians paying tribute to all the great big bands from the height of the big band era including selections from Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman and more. A definite crowd pleaser! Dancing is not required but encouraged. The Milwaukee Youth Symphony will once again open the evening and the King of Swing Dewey Gill will spin his 78s. 
Although the music is the highlight, there will be auction items ranging from the always sold-out theater show, “Hamilton,” to the always loved a lesson with The Milwaukee Black Smith. The evening will include light faire from Braise Restaurant.

Cocktail dress is encouraged.
