First Friday: Swingin At The (Brand New) Studio
1850 N Western Avenue Chicago, IL

A casual night of great instruction, fantastic music, and wonderful people.

On the First Friday of every month, we host a lesson & dancing at the studio. We start with a beginner-friendly swing lesson and then open up the floor to practice your social dancing. You’ll have the opportunity to dance with folks of all abilities, as partners rotate throughout the night. And when you don’t feel like dancing, just relax and take in the scene.

This is an 18+ evening.

No partner or experience required.
Arrive a little before 8pm if it’s your first class.

The evening, inclusive of the lesson, is $10 (cash only at the door) and very casual.
Just bring or wear a pair of clean, dry shoes and a smile.

The music is swingin’ jazz, a great mix to practice your East Coast, Lindy, Charleston, & Balboa.

First time coming to the studio?   We’re across the street and just south of the Blue Line Western Stop. There is free street parking along Western, and both free and metered parking on Armitage, Milwaukee and the side streets.
