CCSwing Halloween Dance!

Doing something a little different this year -- since Halloween proper is falling on a Wednesday, we're doing a Sunday dance in lieu of having to celebrate a whole week early or a day late.

This year well be down in Walker's Point at Anodyne Coffee and there'll be live music with our friends from Milwaukee Hot Club!!

Come on out at 7:00 and learn (or refresh) the classic "Thriller" choreography with Tory.

We'll have a costume contest, as always, and will be awarding prizes around 9:45/10 so make sure you're there early so our guest judges can check out your Halloween finery!

No basic swing lesson tonight.

7:00 - Thriller lesson
8:00-11:00 - Milwaukee Hot Club

$10 cover

Costumes encouraged, not required

Lindy Bus Tour 2018

Mark your calendars for our 2018 Lindy Bus Tour! After a departure from tradition last year, we're back to give our dancers the swingingest way to attend Doors Open Milwaukee! We're planning for some of our greatest hits, some new spots, special treats, and music this year will be courtesy of our awesome DJ Brian!

**Please read!!**

-Registration update!! Registration is OPEN! Cost this year is $20.

-You must contact us directly -- send us a FB message, talk to us in person at an event or send us an email at creamcityswing@gmail.com. Just RSVPing "going" to the FB event page does not, I repeat, does NOT! reserve your spot on the bus. Space is limited, so we try to make this process as fair as possible.

-Try to be sure that you can make it before registering -- it makes my job way easier if people aren't constantly backing out with conflicts, leaving me to try to fill the spots.

-Once we've sold out, you'll be put on the waitlist and will contact you as soon as we know if there's a spot.

-Once you've registered, you have 5 days to pay or you risk getting bumped if there's a waitlist.

-This tour happens rain (as we found out last year) or shine! No refunds are available if you cancel after September 17.

-Due to the refreshments encouraged on the bus, this tour is ages 21+ - no exceptions . Our organizers are too busy making sure we're not being kicked out of the venue, haven't lost the bus, or left anyone behind to police underage drinking. If we are unsure of your age, you will be carded upon registration. Thank you for understanding.

Dirty Dancing Theme Night!

https://www.facebook.com/events/264660790979901/

It's that time of year when we turn Best Place into Kellerman's Resort and rock out to music from and inspired by one of the best movie soundtracks of all time, Dirty Dancing. Jenny's on deck as your DJ to take us through a fantastically fun night of music.

Feel free to dress for the theme - break out your 1960s duds, 80s resort wear, or just come as yourself. Just be there!

No aerials, please. I don't care how much you've practiced that lift in the water -- not cool on the social floor, as per usual. :)

8:00-8:45 Lesson - Basic 6-Count Swing - No experience or partner needed!
