Office Hours

Join us for a casual, open drop in session for practice, feedback, or just hanging out and dancing. This is NOT a lesson - but more of an opportunity to get some more one on one help than we can normally get to in regular classes.

We’ll have some of our teachers on hand ready to work with you or a group, but there will be no formal agenda or lesson plan. If you’ve got some questions you need answered, want some direct feedback or just want to work on your own, stop on by.

Pay what you choose/suggested donation - $5 to help cover studio costs/tip the teachers. Thanks!

Every paid entry (does not include punch cards) will get a door prize ticket, if you make an additional donation in any amount, you'll get a second ticket. We'll have a few drawings throughout the evening -- must be present to win!

Hope to see everyone out to help support this cause -- Scott takes such good care of us every week, let's show him a little love.

*Cancelled tonight!* Monday Lessons! Lindy Hop 101 and Lindy Hop 201

UPDATE!

We're so sorry to announce that, due to weather and the driving/parking conditions on the East Side, we'll be canceling classes tonight.

If you're in Lindy 101: We'll do tonight's material next week in the first week of Lindy 102 -- so ignore that pesky "swingout" pre-requisite, as we were going to cover that tonight.

If you've paid for a January series, tonight's credit/s will roll over. If you can't make it next month, you can apply that credit to another series through June.

————————————————————-
Here's what you need to know:
7-7:15PM: Registration and Warmup

7:15-8:15PM: Lindy 101 w/BJ and Lyndsey part 3 - This is a 4 part progressive series where you’ll learn 8-count footwork, frame, connection, swingout & circle. Perfect for those who are brand new to Lindy Hop as well as veterans working on their foundations. No new drop ins after week 1 unless you’ve got some Lindy or partner dance experience.

8:15-8:25PM - Registration/Break/Warmup/Level Test

8:25–9:25PM: Lindy 201 w/BJ and Lyndsey part 3 - These classes will seek to elevate your dancing to give you a musicality and flow. We’ll challenge what you already know, maybe break some rules, and push your dancing out of the classroom and on to the social floor. You’ll need to have a fair amount of Lindy experience under your belt (a deep comfort in your Lindy basics, that is) to take this class.

$25 for 4-class series ($20 with student/military ID) $8 drop-in

**Note: All mid-month drop ins will be assessed by teachers and staff before accepted.**

Remember: No street shoes on the dance floor! Bring a water bottle, as the only water source is the bathroom sink. There is some AC in the building, but it's still likely to get a little warm once you get moving -- bring a change of shirt or towel if you think you'll need it!
